Introduction

Nottingham based photographer, Ed Godden, was recently named within Professional Photo’s Top 50 UK wedding photographers list for a 3rd year running, which comes as no surprise to us! The judge’s say “Ed is a highly respected wedding photographer who prefers to let events unfold around him a supposed to orchestrating frames. He is not aiming for posed perfection but prefers to deliver a series of images that focus on the joy of his couples and the fun parts of their wedding days.” which sums up Ed’s style perfectly.

Ed jumped into the world of wedding photography in 2012 and has shot over 500 weddings so is quite the experienced veteran now and, with experience, comes a well-honed approach. Ed says “My images are gritty, edgy, and have a cinematic timeless feel to them. It’s not fake, contrived, or posed perfection. I shoot real life, captured as you remembered it. I want my photos to have feeling to them, and to immerse you into every scene. My main aim is to remind you of all the fun you, your family, and all your guests had on your wedding day.
