HBA Photography say they create “Storytelling and emotive, kick-ass imagery” and, to be fair, we have to say we agree! Whenever an HBA wedding pings into our inboxes, we know it is going to be a goodie and Laura and Ross’ wedding was no exception, hitting us right in the feels

Having got engaged on a Christmas trip to Prague (how romantic!) back in 2017, Laura and Ross set about planning their perfect day. After a few Covid-related complications (namely, 2 cancelled dates and lots stress along the way!), when the couple finally walked down Stubton Hall’s Music Room aisle in July 2021, it was certainly worth the wait.

The details…

The day’s colour palette centred around muted green tones with injections of peach and light, bright neutrals which complimented Stubton’s Hall’s chic surroundings. With styling details to die for and a paired-back-but-pretty cake, we just can’t get enough of this gorgeous day.

Although it wasn’t all cake and candles; throughout the ever-changing lockdown guidelines (which thankfully feel like a distant memory now!)and with the likelihood of numbers being restricted, the couple lost their love for wedding planning but their amazing suppliers rallied around to raise their morale.

The bride says “We soon found our excitement back when we had the meetings with our suppliers who managed to make us see what an amazing, intimate, dreamy wedding we could have. Despite our wedding’s season changing, we kept colours to greens and blues, and the suppliers honestly smashed it”

Sometimes, the connections you make while planning your wedding really do add to the day and the people who worked on their wedding day were really important to Laura and Ross. There are fewer more impactful on your day than your photographers as you literally spend the day with them; from bridal prep to throwing shapes on the dancefloor your photographer will be close by.
