Amy-Beth & Curtis
There’s nothing like tomorrow
Some might say planning a full wedding in 205 days is foolish, we say it is bold, brave and blooming marvellous. Luckily, they picked the right venue for the challenge; when Amy-Beth and Curtis contacted The Pumping House to enquire about a date just 6 months later, unfazed the venue’s dream-team set about putting plans in place to create the perfect day for the couple.
If you have been a long-time Save The Date reader, you will know that we are HUGE fans of The Pumping House and you can probably see why; this grade II listed venue featuring the original distinctive chimney and the unique tiling just oozes character. The stunning arch windows and the high glass ceiling create an illuminating space that is perfect for photos and is the ideal blank canvas for creating the most perfect of wedding days.
At its heart, the venue was born out of the idea of doing things differently, with its industrial-chic flair and tranquil surroundings so it comes as no surprise that this rule-breaking couple opted for The Pumping House as their perfect place to tie the knot. With venue ticked off the list, Amy-Beth and Curtis set about sourcing stylish suppliers that still had availability for their shorter deadline and, boy, were they in luck bagging Hannah Shearman to photograph the day. I think we can all agree that this gallery of goodness is spilling over with relaxed, emotive vibes and we just adore the ever-so-slightly moody edit style.

Eye Candy
It didn’t stop at photographer luck though, as it was only a matter of time before we HAD to talk about those blooms. The blousy roses, overflowing greenery and strategically placed stems from Peonies and Plumes just scream style and feel like the main-event of the day’s décor. Complimented by the ever-gorgeous details from Save The Date Event Stylist, the day’s aesthetic and feel really does look years in the making!
The couple and their nearest and dearest enjoyed an intimate, ceremony within The Ollerton Room, a stunning ceremony space, complete with beautifully unique parquet flooring and natural light from the original paned windows, followed by a fun-filled wedding breakfast. In true celebratory style, the evening was filled with music, dancing, drinks and pizza which, I am sure we can all agree, sounds like a recipe to the perfect party.
Huge congratulations to the happy couple for schooling us in how to pull off a short-lead wedding day without compromising on style or fun!
