A rustic gem hidden in the Leicestershire countryside

We are a small family business who have a love for restoring old farm buildings. In between day to day farming we have spent the last 15 years renovating beautiful barn conversions both here in Leicestershire and also across the French Alps. We took everything we learnt and lavished it upon The Willow Marsh Farm. When we bought the farm, it was deeply in need of some love and attention, but the potential and natural beauty of the setting was clear to see. We started restoring the farm buildings and while doing some renovation work on one of the cottages I asked my now wife Sarah to marry me. Luckily, she said ‘yes’ and we started our search for the perfect venue. Sarah wanted something elegant and intimate and I wanted something with natural beauty that was also big enough to accommodate my extended farming family. After a lot of searching, we decided to do something a little different, and chose to build our own wedding venue. Meet Willow Marsh Farm! After two years of 7-day weeks, we managed to finish it the night before our wedding day. It has now been the setting for many love stories...

As newlyweds, we understand what the planning process involves. Weekend weddings at Willow Marsh Farm are bespoke and personal, and we hold just a small number of weddings each season to ensure you have our undivided attention. An exclusive-use weekend wedding venue, we welcome you to wander and explore the grounds and fields that make the setting so special, promising a ‘home from home’ feel. From our homemade rustic bar, we offer a range of options for your drinks, one of which allows you to provide your own beverages throughout the weekend. Alternatively, we also provide a cash bar for your guests to enjoy and get the party started.

There is also an opportunity to stay onsite; The farms former milking parlour has been transformed into some truly exceptional accommodation. Offering living and dining, three bedrooms and a bridal preparation space all wrapped in iconic Willow Marsh stone. This stand alone property will become your home for the weekend as you enjoy the first moments of the rest of your lives together. There is also another exciting project in the making which means that from 2023 we will have two onsite accommodation options sleeping a total of 12.
