Welcome to the wedding of Zoë & Luke at the Walled Garden at Beeston Fields in Nottingham
Happy couple Zoë & Luke opted for a pretty garden-inspired wedding theme with lots of lovely details. The talented bride-to-be also added a personal touch to their wedding day by creating beautiful homemade wedding favours for their guests!
THE BRIDE IS SUPER CREATIVE
Luke and Zoë are teenage sweethearts who got married in July 2016 at the Walled Garden at Beeston Fields in Nottingham. It was an incredibly beautiful and personal day. Zoë, the bride, is really creative and spent so much time bringing really personal touches to their garden floral themed day. The details showed guests that they were valued and remembered. One of these personal details were the personalised reception drink glasses which Zoë spent hours making and decorating, personal to each guest. She wanted these to be a surprise for guests on the day to enjoy as they found the glass personalised for them. They had a beautiful outdoor garden ceremony in the rustic walled garden, followed by an ice-cream and reception drinks. They then hosted an elegant marquee reception which included a lovely dinner, speeches, candy-floss machine and lots more little touches enjoyed by all!
THE WEDDING HAD A PRETTY GARDEN THEME
Zoe the bride explains, “We wanted a relaxed but sophisticated wedding with a garden theme. We’re both quite young and wanted the wedding to reflect us rather than something we were trying to be. We had a neutral palette with splashes of colour, which mainly came from the groomsmen’s electric blue outfits and our flowers.”
When arranging floral details Zoe’s Mum helped out a lot. “We asked Marie, from Fruits of the Florist, for a selection of flowers that looked liked they’d been picked from a meadow. She was very helpful with our simple choices of floral arrangements on the table. When we decided on an outdoor ceremony, we asked Marie if she could arrange hanging flowers within the bandstand. She was more excited than us to do this and they really set the scene!” Zoe’s Mum collected all the crystal for the tables, and the lace on the table belonged to Zoe’s Great Nan.
“The wedding day was based solely at The Walled Gardens at Beeston Fields Golf Club. The staff at the Walled Gardens looked after us from our first enquiry right up until the final song was played. The setting was beautiful, an old Victorian Walled garden with a large marquee.”
We can’t stop swooning over Zoë and Luke’s wedding photographs. From the theme to the venue, this wedding venue was full of romance!
