Sian & Conor
Love Is Not Cancelled
You know that, here at Save the Date HQ, we love something a little different; when a couple push the norm and make their wedding day super stylish and extra unique. Well, didn’t Sian and Conor absolutely smash it in their Covid19 era mini wedding?
“The whole day was so relaxed…”

Eye Candy
Starting the day with bridal prep at Staying Cool At Rotunda, a collection of gorgeously chic serviced apartments, in Birmingham city centre with Zoe, Worcester on hair duties and Stacey Peplow on makeup. Sian still managed to enjoy the luxury of being preened and polished around the current restrictions and walked out with that true bridal glow.
The ceremony was held at Fazeley Studios in Digbeth, Birmingham, a former Unitarian Church now a stunning wedding venue in the heart of Birmingham’s creative quarter. Dressed with simple greenery and geometric lanterns letting the most amazing florals shine – Sian’s bouquet of neon multicolour was a total showstopper! What a cool backdrop for saying your “I dos”…
After the ceremony, with photographer Simon Brettell in tow, the couple hit the graffiti clad streets around The Custard Factory for some pretty cool portraits. Then it was back to the bride and groom’s house for the wedding breakfast and evening reception with entertainment provided by The Medley Boys who kept the dancefloor rocking until the early hours with plenty of fun and funky music.
This fun, relaxed wedding with the bride and groom’s closest friends and family is giving us all the feels and confirms that, even during a global pandemic, love is not cancelled!
