Aimee & Nathan
Newlyweds, Aimee and Nathan, opted for a pretty pastel wedding at Donington Park Farmhouse Hotel, with a wonderful rustic feel. This bride was seriously crafty, creating the majority of decorations and props herself. Aimee even designed her own lace wedding dress and it was stunning. Take a look through the gallery to see more of this gorgeous wedding day…
Lorna & Angus
Happy couple, Lorna and Angus, dreamt of a relaxed and informal wedding day, with huge involvement from friends and family and that's exactly what they got! They opted for a classic English country garden wedding theme with subtle hints of Spanish fiesta. The newlyweds decided to keep the decor simple, letting their incredible venue do all of the talking. Their blush pink and burgundy colour scheme had hints of luxe gold, and it looked so beautiful.
Lisa & Chris
When it comes to real weddings, they don’t get more swoon worthy than this one. Lisa & Chris married towards the end of Summer last year with a beautifully pretty palette of grey and peach, with a stunning backdrop and the most perfect, intimate detail. Here, Lisa tells us all about this ultra-elegant day…
Jemma & Kane
Jemma & Kane said 'I Do' against the backdrop of The West Mill, a striking wedding venue in Derbyshire. The couple kept their styling simple and stylish, letting their incredible wedding venue do all the talking. The result was a charming wedding theme that looked oh-so-special!
Dan and Georgie
Beautiful day, fab weather and the best party with our amazing friends and family we could have asked for! Shabby chic with a touch of vintage was the order of the big day, nothing too prim and proper – that’s just not us. We got married in our village church, it was a personal and intimate ceremony including a fantastic reading by my brother and my godmother singing a cappella during the signing of the registers.
Bob and Jo
Newlyweds, Bob and Jo, tied the knot at the magnificent Thrumpton Hall in Nottingham. Although they initially loved the idea of saying 'I Do' on a Greek Island, they opted to transport their guests to a Mediterranean paradise, using 6ft olive trees and a colour palette of fresh greens, with bright blues and pale peach accents.
David & Marie
Nottingham is the home of Save the Date Magazine so we love nothing more than seeing a wedding taking place in the city centre, with true style and class. Marie & David married in the historic Lace Market and enjoyed a chic wedding using lots of Save the Date's trusty wedding suppliers from our 'Cream of the Crop'. Marie tells us all about it;
Maria & Mark
When wedding coordinator Robyn over at The Kedleston approached us with this corker of a wedding, we literally couldn't wait to get it on the blog. Small and perfectly formed, the ceremony of 15 people resulted in an intimate, family focused day with a real sense of style.
Robyn says, "I’d like to start out by saying a massive congratulation’s to the lovely Mark & Maria. They came to The Kedleston in search for a wedding venue that would snugly fit their small intimate wedding ceremony of just 15 people close to home in Derbyshire. Their stunning wedding was a pintresters dream come true, full of succulents, hessian and geometric gold candle holders. Take a peruse through the amazing photo’s from Ed.
