So where could possibly host such a gorgeous day, we hear you ask? Only The 2022 Wedding Industry Awards “Historic Building Wedding Venue” National Winner of course!
If you’re not familiar with The Pumping House already, where have you been? A heritage building absolutely covered in character, The Pumping House has quickly become one of the best known wedding venues in the region and it is easy to see why; elevated industrial charm and original features (parquet floor of our dreams and those huge paned windows have forever stolen our hearts!) have been perfectly paired with cool contemporary to create an exceptional event space. And it was in front of those dramatic windows that Kay & Bobby said their “I do’s”,surrounded by friends and family and toffee toned, blousy blooms provided by the girls at Southwell florist Gigil & Bloom.
Simple, understated styling ran throughout the day, even into the bridal look with Kay wearing a pretty, flowing gown and veil adorned, loose bob. But the day certainly wasn’t without pizzazz, with Bobby rocking up in pretty legendary style; a tux and a cool car are always a winner in our book!
As if the day hadn’t been cool enough, their guests were even treated to a late night pie from “Claude”, Pietanic’s retro Citreon H van; what a way to end a night of celebration...If Kay & Bobby’s wedding looked like your cup of tea (or slice of pie!) then The PumpingHouse is a must for venue-viewing-list...
