THE THEME WAS RUSTIC AND ELEGANT

Freddie & Georgie got married in a church in Long Eaton and had their wedding reception at Donington Park Farmhouse. Their wedding theme included lots of lovely literary references, with their table names linked to musics. The overall wedding was rustic, relaxed and ultra-elegant. Georgie the bride explains, “We chose a Winter theme because the love the Christmas / rustic look and our wedding was in February. We chose to base our wedding colours on navy blues, deep reds, mustard yellow, white and dark green. It matched our Christmas theme as well.”

I USED PINTEREST TO FIND THE BRIDESMAID DRESSES

“I looked through different wedding magazines and found a style of dress that I liked. Then I searched around to find the same style and managed to find this with the help of the Dress Place in Nottingham. For my bridesmaids, I looked on Pinterest and then looked around for the styled I liked. I found these in a high street retailer in Chichester.”

THE VENUE IS MAGICAL

Freddie & Georgie’s photographer, Gareth Newstead explains, “Donington Park Farmhouse is a unique venue for weddings and receptions. It comprises of converted farm buildings which have been lovingly restored and beautifully presented. The wedding breakfast takes place in the pigsties, with the individual walls still in place (but luckily not the smell) and the evening reception takes part in the large open brickwork barn, decked out in beautiful fairy lights to make the evening absolutely magical.”
