Emily and Steve
For some people, a big white wedding just isn't for them! Maybe the time involved in planning feels too much or the idea of being centre of attention is daunting. Elopements and super intimate weddings can be a great solution for those feeling this way and can absolutely still be just as beautiful, special and stylish as a huge wedding; stripping back all of the extras to leave love and commitment at the centre of the day and that is exactly what Emily and Steve did. We absolutely adore the images, captured by The Light Painters, from their (little) big day!
Dan & Gemma at Overgrown Acres
Colourful fun wedding with a festival vibe. Bright colours mixed with fun styling, music was a big part of this shoot, with nods to it in the record table names, VIP lanyard name tags and guitar props. Colour was added where possible, without losing the essence of a beautiful wedding; petals sewn into the bride's veil & impressive back drop to the top table. The food was festival inspired food trailer, serving wood fired pizza. Such a fun wedding in a gorgeous understated tipi venue!
Olivia And Tom
Boho weddings are always one of our favourites to receive and we love seeing how couples add a bohemian touch to their big day. Olivia & Tom opted for a natural, boho-inspired outdoor celebration set in the ruins of Sheffield Manor Lodge, with their evening reception hosted at Manor Oaks House.
They had a natural hessian theme with green and pastel tones, with all the decor and details designed by the very talented bride. So, take a whirl through the wonderful eye candy and be inspired for your own special day...
Jade & Ben
Hazel Gap Barn really was the perfect setting for Jade & Ben's Asian-inspired celebration, and we love how the couple incorporated subtle yet stylish bohemian vibes.
Jade's father passed away six years ago, so they chose to play a beautiful video to him via a projector screen so that he could still be a part of the special day. Their canapés was so incredible they skipped the started and tucked straight into the main meal, a hog roast. For their wedding cake, the bottom tier has a song written on it that Ben, the groom, had written for Jade. All the romance!
For purse-friendly yet scrumptious treats for the guests, Jade and Ben put out sweet and biscuit jars which everyone enjoyed. This delightful duo also provided their guests with blankets and umbrellas so they could make the most of the outdoor space at Hazel Gap Barn.
Let's take a look at their rather beautiful big day...
Sarah & Sam

Amy & Tom
This wedding is the perfect inspiration for any boho bride-to-be! Amy & Tom tied the knot in September at St Catherine's church in Burbage, followed by a stunning reception in a listed barn at Bosworth Battlefield Heritage Centre in Leicestershire. The couple adored the natural beauty of the setting and were able to transform the venue to suit their personal style. They worked with some fabulous suppliers, making it the day of the dreams with plenty of décor including festoon lighting, beautiful blooms and lots of personal touches. Danny & Emily-Rose
"We crafted and designed every part of our wedding with the help of our friends and family. This had always been my dream so that our day completely reflected us, coincidentally it also helped with the budget! Our wedding was a church ceremony followed by a barn reception, it had a rustic, nature centred and boho feel to it created through our hand-crafted décor. Our main aim of the wedding was for everyone to have fun and enjoy it almost as much us, the venue gave us a head start on this as it came with an amazing maze as part of the beautiful gardens, this was the icing on the cake."

Aimee and Tom
"Down a little lane on the coast of Cornwall sits an old military Fort with epic panoramic views of the sea. Here, I walked up the garden lawn in a pretty, lace dress to meet my soul mate at the alter. The harpist played and my family and friends smiled and cried. Our 18 month old baby boy looked adorable in his straw hat and floral dicky bow. Our cockapoo, Luna wore a matching bow. The sun shined as our vows were read and the harpist played 'beauty and the beast' as we walked hand in hand back down the aisle.
We laughed, drank, played giant Jenga and beer pong on the lawn, with the sea as a perfect background. Tom and I sneaked off down to the beach for a private moment and had our photographs taken. We had a summer feast in the grand Napoleonic Hall then ended the day partying to a soul band. We watched the stars from the garden twinkling over the ocean and took it all in. It was intimate, it was emotional, it was breathtaking and whimsical. It was our dream come true and I hope we live happily ever after…"
