Introduction

A gorgeous Spring affair...

Emily & Jake tied the knot at Newton House Barns in Spring, surrounded by hanging floral installations, sequin gowns and statement neon lights. This lovely couple wanted an informal, relaxed wedding day with sharing platters, a free bar and no speeches - they wanted their guests to spend as much time as possibly partying! Their gorgeous venue had beautiful gardens, where they had space hoppers and plenty of fun drinking games. In the evening, Emily & Jake danced the night away to 90s RnB while drinking personalised cocktails. There is so much inspiration from this real wedding so dive straight into the gorgeous eye candy on offer..

GREY, GREEN AND A POP POP OF PINK...

“Emily wanted to combine her three favourite things, fashion, flowers and partying! So the décor consisted of sequins, neon lights and hanging floral displays. The colours were soft grey/ green pastels with a pop of pink provided by the flowers and neon lights.”

MY DRESS MADE ME FEEL LIKE A ROCKSTAR...

“The dress was a fully embellished evening gown by Karen Willis Holmes. It was so comfortable and made me feel like a rockstar! The veil was also embellished with 3 dimensional lace flowers which added a softness to the look. The bridesmaids also donned full glitter in mix and match dresses in a soft palette from ASOS. The groom and groomsmen wore a relaxed look on navy chinos and harris tweed blazers.”

A RUSTIC HORSE BOX...

“We wanted the food to be very social and get everyone mingling. The wedding breakfast was rustic platters of cold meats and cheeses and antipasti served on planks to the tables. For dessert we had a rustic horse box ice cream van and in the evening this converted to a pizza oven. Yum!”

A GLITTER STATION...

“We provided space hoppers and drinking games on the lawns. We also had a jewel and glitter station.”

ANY WORDS OF ADVICE FOR FUTURE BRIDES & GROOMS?

“Always get as much help as possible to do all the jobs that need doing on the day before and morning of the wedding. This is your time to relax and enjoy your special day!”
