Introduction

A Relaxed And Fun Countryside Wedding

Daniel & Sarah opted for a really relaxed yet fun wedding day. They were spoilt with sunshine in the heart of the countryside in Ambergate, Belper, with the exclusive-use secret gardens promising the perfect backdrops for their photographs. Their styling was rustic with an abundance of foliage and copper to create an industrial-meets-romance vibe.

This couple's big day was all about celebrating and making the day full of fun, which is why they had a crêpe cart, karaoke and even a magician! What are you waiting for..? Dive straight into the gallery guys!

TELL US ABOUT YOUR VENUE...

“Our chosen venue was The Hurt Arms Inn, a secluded intimate location situated in the Ambergate Valley. We chose The Hurt Arms because it has a combination of a rustic and contemporary feel with the unique and stylish Tollgate Suite where the ceremony was held, later being transformed ready for the wedding feast. The Tollgate suite has floor to ceiling glass windows all around with beautiful brickwork in between which made a perfect backdrop for our cake!”

“We went for a laid back, cosy and romantic style wedding with copper and leafy green tones. We chose to have calligraphy style writing on our name place cards and our seating for eating plan. We provided everyone with envelopes of dried petals which were placed on the ceremony chairs, ready for the confetti shower after we’d tied the knot!”

“My dress was from the Allure bridal designer, purchased from Lori G in Derbyshire. I went for a stunning fishtail style dress with traditional lace detail, sweetheart bodice, diamanté buttoning and a truly impressive textured train.  The bridesmaids wore elegant yet simplistic gowns, matching the grooms party’s ties, in a beautiful seafoam green.”

WHAT DID EVERYBODY EAT & DRINK?

“We kicked off the afternoon with an epic wedding feast consisting of a selection of locally sourced meats, giant Yorkshire puddings and seasonal vegetables. Shortly followed by dessert in the form of a crepe (or 10!) we provided a cookie stack table for guests to help themselves throughout the afternoon and into the evening.

Evening entertainment was provided by Paul Grundle Magician. He captivated our guests as he made his way round to each and every table, still to this day he’s the hot topic of conversation amongst our family and friends! The evening was finished off with a DJ and karaoke!”
