TELL US ABOUT YOUR WEDDING VENUE…
“The Kedleston was a local venue for us, literally about a 5 minute drive from our house and we loved it as we could hire the venue for exclusive use, and we loved the interior decor. I’m an interior designer so we really didn’t want anywhere that was traditionally decorated or old fashioned and we knew that The Kedleston was fairly new and was tastefully decorated. We also liked the way we could completely tailor the whole day including the menus.
I would say our wedding was contemporary and stylish. We had a rose gold and greenery theme.”
WHAT DID YOU ALL WEAR?
“The wedding dress was a designer called Grace Phillips bought from Mimi Toko in Duffield. The dress was a fit and flare plain mikado satin dress. Our maid of honour wore a peachy pink dress from Chi Chi and our two little bridesmaids wore light grey dresses from Monsoon. All the dresses were plain which worked really well with my wedding dress.”
WHAT DID EVERYBODY EAT AND DRINK?
“We opted for pie and mash as our main meal, the venue were really helpful with helping us select our menus bespoke to us. We had a gin and elderflower cocktail as our welcome drink.”
HOW DID YOU ENTERTAIN YOUR GUESTS?
“We had the singer Richie Muir with us for the whole day from our ceremony to the evening. His band then joined in the evening and they provided the evening entertainment.”
ANY ADVICE FOR FUTURE BRIDES & GROOMS?
“Stay chilled and enjoy every minute of the day!”
