I was lucky enough to be invited to a hen do this last weekend (June 2018) at the lovely Scaldersitch farm. I have never camped or glamped in my adult life so was a little nervous but it was absolutely wonderful. Ian & Catherine had literally thought of every little detail from hot water bottles and blankets to utensils and Crockery, wood for the fires in the teepees, yurts & hot tubs, even paper plates if we wanted to avoid washing up. We were gifted a gorgeous farm pack with bread milk etc on arrival & all essentials were there too. We arranged flower crown making & yoga and visited the Manifold Inn which was less than a 20 minute walk. A delightful weekend, ample parking, great communal space for meals and talking, lots of seating, brilliant hot tubs, beautiful location, tranquil, lovely owners 10 out of 10 for keeping 21 girls happy and will definitely come back.

Just home from a wonderful weekend at this magical place. We were a group of 20 on a hen party and the venue was perfect. The teepees and yurts are so well equipped, warm and very comfortable. We really enjoyed soaking in rhe hot tubs with beautiful views of the countryside to enjoy. The breakfast provided was all local products and delicious. As was the afternoon tea that we ordered in. The communal area again is well equipped and perfect for gatherings. Ian, the owner, regularly checked that everything was ok and tended to the fires on the hot tubs and in the yurts and teepees. I really recommend this beautiful accommodation. It lends itself really well to group gatherings.

I've just spent the most amazing weekend here for my hen do with 22 friends and family. Ian and Catherine were great hosts and so friendly and accommodating. The setting is gorgeous and the tipis and yurts were beautiful. Then there's the wood fired hot tubs....fabulous! The kitchen/dining area provides a great space for gathering, eating, drinking and had everything we needed. My hens were really kind and treated me to a massage with Natasha onsite, it was in the beautiful, rustic barn - really relaxing and a perfect treat after a weekend of hen do shenanigans. I would highly recommend a stay here, whether for a group weekend away or a romantic getaway or even a family's a 10/10 from me!

We stayed here for my best friend's hen do in May. A group of 24 of us, mixed ages, interests and dietary requirements and Catherine and Ian could not have been more welcoming or more accomodating. Ian greeted us on arrival and popped in throughout the weekend to check everything was going well and help out with lighting/keeping fires burning. They even put away all the shopping we had delivered before we arrived! Every single one of the hens commented on how lovely the site was, it's a real find! I am not personally a fan of camping but this was miles away from any camping experiences. Proper shower and toilet facilities, lovely soft beds, gorgeous homey touches in each of the tipis/yurts, hot tubs! It was just brilliant, can't rate it highly enough! We're all still buzzing about it now! And the hen had a fantastic time. Definitely recommend for large groups as the exclusive use option means you can take of the site for a weekend and not have to worry about other guests. Also would definitely recommend the on site yoga classes. Everyone in our group really enjoyed it..even those who don't usually exercise. The gorgeous sunny morning probably helped with that :) All in all I can't rate this place highly enough. It has to be seen and experienced to be believed...and wait until you meet Daisy and Puss Puss; gorgeous! Thanks for a lovely weekend Catherine and Ian!
