Woodland Wedding Festival – Field & Forest Weddings
The moment you say “yes’ to the magical question, “Will you marry me?’ you will start to dream about when and where? The backdrop to your big day is one of the most important wedding planning decisions you will make together as a newly betrothed couple. The venue outlines the look of your wedding day, the season your wedding takes place, and dictates how much flexibility you have to bring your own style and ideas. Simply put, the place that you say ‘I Do’ creates the mood and feel for your entire celebration. It’s where your shared dream becomes a reality.
Field & Forest is the brain child of Charlotte & Dave Garner. The stunning property has been in Charlotte’s family for generations and it is such a beautiful place that they wanted to do something really special there. Discover this unspoilt area in the National Forest just off the A515 between Burton-on-Trent and Lichfield. The ancient woodlands and stunning Staffordshire country views provide the perfect backdrop for your dream festival tipi wedding.
Charlotte & Dave would like to invite future brides and grooms to celebrate the opening of this unique venue at the Woodland Wedding Festival. Their inaugural Open Day on Sunday 17th September 2017 between 10:00am until 3:00pm, will give you the perfect opportunity to visit this wonderful site, meet the staff and suppliers and experience the atmosphere.
They will be working hand in hand with award-winning Peak Tipis to showcase their big hat tipis in the Half Moon Field nestled in front of the wooded thicket. Inside will showcase a selection of suppliers including styling and floristry from Nadia Di Tullio Flowers and some fabulous food tastings from Saffron Catering. Outside you can indulge in some live music, drinks from the Gin Kitchen and crepes from the Old Manor House Bakery’s vintage van. The staff and carefully selected suppliers will help to inspire the important details of your day such as the style of ceremony, cake, flowers, photography, video and the all important dress.
This venue has so much to offer with separate spaces for blessing ceremonies and a glamping village. The Blessing Circle can be found a short walk from the Half Moon Field through the long meadow grass and along the winding woodland path, which is strewn with bluebells in Spring. A celebrant from Cariad Ceremonies will also be there to introduce you to the range of different ways that you can say ‘I do’.
