Have you thought about adding a personal touch to your drinks reception? There are some lovely ways to do this, whether you choose to serve signature drinks, serve the drinks in fun glasses or set up an entire drink station.

♥ Signature drinks

If you and your other half have signature drinks you always order why not treat your guests to these on your wedding day for a personal touch. It’s a lovely idea to display a sign at the bar showing which drinks are on offer.

♥ Present your drinks in fun ways

Think about the glasses you want to use to serve your drinks, you could choose kilner jars, bottles, martini glasses or whatever you fancy. Adding straws in your colours can be a lovely touch and how about a sprig of lavender for extra detailing. For an additional detail you could label empty glasses with each guests name and write their table number on the label too so it would double up as an escort card.

♥ Set up a complete drink station

For a statement feature at your venue you could set up an entire drinks station. This could include fruit punch as well as cocktails in drinks dispensers for guests to help themselves. You can style this area to fit in with your overall wedding style.

♥ For winter weddings

In winter a refreshing cocktail may not be what your guests need, perhaps treat them to drinks at a different time of day depending on your wedding day schedule. Warm guests up after being outside with a hot chocolate bar, or perhaps serve Baileys after dinner.
