The shoot was initially inspired by the colours and textures of Thailand. Hand ice-dyed fabrics, ombré candles and vintage-glam tableware, hand-dipped stationery and tropical flowers on rustic wooden furniture completed the look of this magical tablescape. Following on through to the hand-painted indigo and gold embellished wedding cake framed by a dramatic handmade heart structure that was also the backdrop to the whimsical afternoon tea scene.
Whimsical glamour settled into the theme when experimenting with textures. The velvet bridesmaid dresses shimmered delicately against the beautiful hand- coloured, ombré wedding dress finished with a “gossamer like” top with floating sleeves and an open back. The models held striking protea filled bouquets wrapped with organic hand- dyed silks.
The boho hairstyles dressed with a mixture of flower crowns and vintage headpieces and accessories finished off the look and set the scene for a magical outdoor afternoon tea with vintage china and delicious cakes
