The Wedding Event with a Difference has been and gone. We can’t quite believe it. The event has taken over our lives for quite some time now and to suddenly have our evenings back and time to go out for lunch is really quite surreal. But we are super duper relieved. Not just because we have our lives back but because the event was a HUGE success. Yay 🙂

Over 1,000 people through the door, lots of bookings made on the day, a catwalk show with a real difference, incredible talent on display and lots of smiling brides = One very happy Save the Date team.

Here’s what people have been saying!

“Well, what can I say, such a glorious day and so many talented people exhibiting! Thank you for asking me along, it was a triumph for all concerned. Well done ladies!” Florist, Exhibitor

“Just wanted to say thanks and a huge well done on Sunday’s show. It was so well organised, a great venue, and lots of fantastic exhibitors. We had a really good day, took one booking there, and have already had more enquiries”. Photographer, Exhibitor

“I’ve already had a couple of brides email and book in who saw us at the event so am really pleased with that as we don’t normally get such a quick turn- around from wedding fayres. Looking forward to the Roundhouse in October!” Bridalwear, Exhibitor

“I just wanted to say a massive THANK YOU for Sunday’s event. It was my first ever wedding fair, and it couldn’t have been better. The whole process, from the initial organisation to the setting up, to the day itself, was just brilliantly done. It was fantastic to see so many brides absolutely buzzing – the feedback we were getting about the event was excellent, both from brides and from other exhibitors.” Cake maker, Exhibitor

“I’ve had a brilliant time at your wedding fair. Hands down, best one I’ve ever been to”. Bride to be

“Had an amazing day at the save the date wedding event! It just gets better each time!” Bride to be

There have been tonnes more too plus lovely tweets and facebook messages. Seriously, we are so touched by all your sweet comments so thank you for taking the time out to let us know 🙂

A huge thank you to our incredible exhibitors who went the extra mile when it came to their stands. Fabulous florists (anyone spot the picket fencing and the old Victorian pram!??), amazing cakes, gorgeous vintage wear, more interactivity than we could have imagined. Seriously, there was no stone left unturned and we want to thank our exhibitors for working so hard on making their stands look so damn cool.

Plus, of course our lovely brides who came along. We sincerely hope you enjoyed the day. The feedback we’ve had so far has been great and we can’t wait to put on another great show for you in October.

We’ll have an official blog on the event in the next week or so with official photographs by our resident photographer, Rachael Connerton Photography (anyone watch her seminar ?? Serious talent alert) but until then, for any of you who couldn’t be there, here’s a sneak peek of what you missed with shots taken from the blog of the fabulous Lucy G Photography:

Plus, here’s some behind the scenes shots from James White Hair:

Hair by James White Hair and make up by Leona Seymour. Models are Blake Models.

You can read James’ write up here and Lucy G’s here.

Thanks again everyone and we’ll be in touch again with the official photographs and of course, the film.

Until then, have a fun week, Lydia & Abbi xx
