The Wedding Event with a Difference – Nottingham Conference Centre
When organising our events, we always look for blank canvas venues. Places which we can transform and spaces which can literally come to life with some creative minds and a sprinkle of imagination.
It just so happens that the venues we seem to find always sound really drab and boring. First of, it was the Roundhouse on Pride Park in Derby – it hardly sounds like it’s going to inspire and delight. However, after two very successful wedding event with a difference’s here, I think it’s safe to say (anyone reading this who attended, please vouch for me!) that the reality of this venue is very much the opposite of what people expect – it is unique, quirky and very impressive.
So, not the kind of girls to go for the easy option, once again we’ve chosen a venue, this time in Nottingham, with a pretty uninspiring name. The Nottingham Conference Centre. Quick, pick youself up from the floor – I know …. the excitement is just too much 😉
Seriously though, this venue is c-o-o-l. As soon as we both walked in, we looked at each other and knew this would be home to the Nottingham arm of the Wedding Event with a Difference. It is striking. It’s trendy but not too much. It has serious charm. It’s light, airy and spacious. It’s a blank canvas. And on 22nd April, it’s where we’ll be for the Wedding Event with a Difference.
Also, for those of you who are not sure where the venue is or are a little confused, then this should give you a better idea (It’s the gorgeous looking building oppopsite the Corner House and slightly to the right!)
On the day, please note that ticket registrations will take place from the Goldsmith Street Entrance. With lots of NCP car parks nearby and easy access to the tram system and train station, this venue is easy easily accessible.
And this place has some seriously impressive interiors …. here’s a sneak peek:
A massive thank you to Rachael Connerton for sparing some time to take these incredible photos.
So, now you know where it’s all going to be happening, have you got your ticket yet?
See you there, Lydia & Abbi xx
