The New Bohemians
Elegant, feminine and fashion forward – three great ways to describe the emerging bohemian trend. When it comes to adopting the style for your wedding, it’s all about floaty gowns, smoky make up, glamorous hair and dreamy design with fabulous blooms and quirky decor.
On a very wet and windy day in April*, a team of us set off to create a whimsical outdoor photo shoot with a real bohemian feel. And here are the fabulous results.
*Plus, proof that even in a downpour and gale force winds, given the right photographer, you can achieve amazing results!
The dresses were simply gorgeous. Cassie at Grace Couture over in West Bridgford Nottingham understands simplicity and style. She brought along a selection of dresses for us to choose from which all complemented the ‘bohemian’ theme and we were quite honestly spoilt for choice.
Grace Couture is a fantastic bridalwear boutique in the heart of West Bridgford offering a variety of dresses by various designers – well worth a look if you’re on the hunt for ‘the one’.
Michele Gledhill is a real dream to work with. Her incredible eye for detail means that any space can be transformed with her creative touches.
Our photographer, Mandy at Dottie worked wonders. The weather really was dismal however you would never know looking at the results. A keen eye and an infectious enthusiasm meant that even during the rain and wind, Mandy was at the top of her game, always finding ways of achieving the perfect shot.
