Supplier of the week – Rachel Spivey
Rachel Spivey, a fabulous photographer and an amazing creative, we have written a double page feature in the current issue of the magazine all about how Rachel works and how she combines beautiful wedding photography with unique boudoir shots.
Well, Rachel has just about recovered from a very exciting event on Friday night where she invited VIP’s to her new and super stylish studio in the heart of the gorgeous Leamington Spa. Plus, Rachel managed to create a lovely video encompassing all the best bits of the night, including a very special performance by talented burlesque dancer, Missy Malone! Over to the proud new owner of Number 1 Newbold Terrace, Leamington Spa:
“Last Friday night I threw open the doors to celebrate the opening of my new studio, and with guests including a creative mix of artists, designers, actors, dancers, models and musicians, along with an impressive handful of corporate movers and shakers, I’d be surprised if there was a more glamorous time to be had in Leamington that night!
To be honest I was overwhelmed by the turnout and incredibly touched by the folk who had traveled far and wide to have a look-see at my work and wish me well. I think that’s why they came anyway, though I suspect that the performance by the lovely Missy Malone contributed a little bit to the popularity of the evening.
It has been hard work, but the studio has come together brilliantly since getting the keys three weeks ago. In between all the painting, moving and picture hanging, it has already been put to use shooting the Ochre and Ocre Christmas gift ranges and will be playing host to its first boudoir session this week. One of the great things about having people over for the evening was the chance for me to show of all the different sides to my work and now the cake crumbs are hoovered and beer mopped up I’m looking forward to really getting the best out of the space.”
So, here it is folks, the video itself – with a brief appearance by Save the Date magazine! Look out for us at the start 🙂
Good luck Rachel in your new home!
