Here at Save the Date, we are suckers for a gorgeous styled shoot! Give us an image gallery bursting with inspiration and we are like a child in a toyshop and this shoot certainly gets us that excited. The super pretty details, those soft delicate tones and an abundance of blousy blooms come together to create a truly enchanting vision within the stunning backdrop of Stoke Rochford Hall. Hannah from Fawcett Photography gives us the lowdown from the shoot day;
“The grandeur of Stoke Rochford Hall set the tone for our inspiration – the whimsical world of fairytale, we wanted to bring back all the nostalgic beauty of fairytales, instilling the values that you’re never too old to dream.
Firstly, we needed to create a truly dreamy tablescape which was styled by The Two Hummingbirds and along the centre of the intimate table was an arrangement of blue & white hydrangeas, David Austin roses, dahlias, campanula, delphiniums, veronica, eucalyptus and rosemary created by The Flower Fairy. In addition to these beautiful blooms, Fauxtanical created a faux floral ceremony arch. Drawing inspiration from Beauty & The Beast, a glass dome was filled with an abundance of fresh flowers, surrounded by pastel candles, which brought yet another sophisticated touch. Perfectly finished with an abundance of soft flowing pastel fabric, tall elegant dinner candles, gold rimmed stemware to match the antique 18ct gold cutlery and elegant pink resin placecards handwritten in white acrylic ink designed by Millie Stone.
The 4 tiered cake stayed in keeping with the colour scheme featured powder blues and soft pinks with exquisite unique handmade floral sugar which elevated the look immeasurably, a true unique wow factor.
To savour all the magic from the day in a beautifully unique way, we enlisted Lisse Art as a live artist; imagine your finished artwork being passed down through the generations, to keep your story told forever and the magic well and truly alive. All accompanied by music from award winning Soraya Vermeulen – after all nothing says fairytale more than the tender tones of a golden harp filling the room.”
