THE IMAGES ARE SIMPLY STUNNING, SO KIM, WHAT DO YOU THINK MAKES THIS SHOOT SO SPECIAL?
A Wild Pampas Dream conveys a powerful and feminine bridal look and wedding set up – it shows the freedom of contemporary wedding styling, and how identity, personality and style can be injected into your wedding from every element-the floral explosion of dried flowers and pampas grass, the elegant and modern cake, accessories for the bride (including a stunning gold crown) and accessories for the set up-a plush pink velvet sofa. Every detail contributes to the concept and the distinctiveness of the bridal look.”
WHAT WAS THE INSPIRATION BEHIND THE SHOOT?
The inspiration for the shoot came from modern but feminine styling; showing the character and fun that can be injected into not only a wedding set up, but the overall bridal look. With a sheer Daalarna Couture gown with intricate floral detailing and long, ethereal sleeves, matched with a gold statement crown-a combination of antique and the contemporary-all of this contributed to the ultimate modern bridal Inspo for those who are looking for something a little different, to stand out, or to convey a free and wild personality. She is untamed and powerful from head to toe, surrounded in a sea of pampas prettiness!

There are pearls, cork poppings and all kinds of prettiness so where do we start? The venue, of course; Hodsock Priory is a historic country house wedding venue set in 800 acres of countryside on the border of Nottinghamshire and South Yorkshire. This carefully restored family home is an award-winning luxury wedding and event venue, surrounded by breath taking views and presented within luxurious gardens and rolling fields and offers the most spectacular backdrop for the shoot. Hodsock Priory’s epic proportions require some equally epic styling to hold its own and Samantha at Willow and Rust did not disappoint.
