Introduction

| STYLED SHOOT | An Elegant Summer Wedding

How pretty is this quintessentially charming styled shoot. Channelling delightfully light and airy and gloriously graceful vibes, we just fell in love with the images.

The shoot, organised by Kim from Dreamboats and Carousels, aimed to inspire couples of way to create Covid - safe but still utterly stylish celebrations. Here Kim tells us more...

Kim says

We wanted to create complete Summery inspiration-the beauty of a destination wedding feeling but in the North Yorkshire countryside! It was important to show how small details in styling choices such as hand-painted napkins and spray-painted gold lemons and limes, could add that extra fun element to the overall look-and inject some personality into the styling. The classic green and white will always be timeless, but by pairing the lemon yellow and gold elements of the stationery, hair accessories, cake and rings, it gave that extra pop of colour and fun, and the modern pronovias gowns oozed contemporary style.

The detailing in the stationery and design crossover with the cake shows how art within a wedding can transcend across different suppliers to creative a cohesive, consistent and stunning look.

Middleton Lodge was the most peaceful and stunning backdrop and setting for our modern, elegant and super stylish shoot this Summer. The gardens were in an abundance of nature-with bumble bees and butterflies amongst the huge variety of coloured plants and flowers. We ensured that our simple green and white florals would be complemented amongst the existing colourful display in the beautiful grounds. The venue was so peaceful and tranquil and a little escape from the modern day world enclosed in the ample walled gardens.
