| STYLED SHOOT | All That Glitters
Well, we've been holding out as long as we could but the festive feels are certainly sneaking in to Save the Date HQ and what better way to shimmer into the sparkle season than this beauty! From the glitter encrusted cake to the disco balls and spangley veils to jewelled dresses, we are head over heels for this super glam styled shoot.
Lou from Rather Lovely Films says "With elopements and micro weddings taking centre stage for the time being, Ellie from EKR Pictures and I wanted to put the sparkle back into wedding planning because, let’s be honest here, one of the best things about a wedding is the party afterwards!
Whether couples are intending to marry now and party later, or just want some inspiration on how to take their wedding reception to the next level, we gathered a team of some of the top trending suppliers in the East Midlands to show how they can celebrate in style!"

As we know Save The Date brides have a very close relationship with their Pinterest boards, the most important aspect of the shoot for us was to make sure the styling reflected the latest wedding trends whilst being realistic enough for the sacred wedding savings pot to achieve. Tara Knott, as always, did an impeccable job of bringing not one, but two looks together to show how a deep neutral colour pallet can ooze modern romance, alongside a tasteful scattering of disco balls to keep the glitter vibes going. Artisan florist Emily Wisher (also lovingly known as Emy Wish!) gave us all the heart eyes with a ceremony backdrop masterpiece of carefully crafted foliage and delicate white florals. Emy topped off Tara’s tables (try saying that at the end of the night!) with a unique arrangement of bleached flowers, perfectly complemented by Design By Emily’s brand new botanical stationary set. Bringing the fun factor to the styling was bespoke cake artist Knot&Bird who delighted us with a one-of-a-kind textured beauty which included a Perspex tier. Normally, we say the more cake, the better, but we can make an exception when it looks THIS good!
And what’s a glitter party without a sparkly dress or two?! Enter Sophie from Ivory White Duffield (and her actual glittery skirt that she wore for the day – 10/10 for effort there!) with her pick of gorgeous gowns from the latest Pronovias, Essence of Australia and Willowby by Watters collections which are big on style and even bigger on making sure the disco lights make you shine on the dancefloor! Ruby J painted faces to perfection showing how glitter make-up can be done whilst maintaining that all-important bridal beauty. Working her magic on our models’ mops was Mazz Loxton who crafted a versatile range of picture perfect festival-inspired hair styles that will last every shape that may be thrown on the dancefloor. Just add a glass of your favourite fizz!
