Here, we catch up with one of the UK’s most respected, in demand wedding photographers, Crash Taylor. When we catch up in his swanky Nottingham based studio, he is cool, calm and collected. We chat about his amazingly intriguing upbringing in Los Angeles, his adorable family and his incredible passion for wedding photography ….

So, Crash, what made you decide to get into the wonderful world of wedding photography?

I love wedding photography! It’s a photographer’s dream to be able to attend a beautiful wedding adventure and capture all the memories that will live with the bride and groom forever. The photo opportunities at the venues I attend are awesome and I’m lucky enough to attract clients that really appreciate photography. The last 6 years I have been a professional wedding photographer and I wouldn’t want to do anything else. Maybe a Victoria Secrets shoot in Hawaii 🙂

How would you describe your style when it comes to wedding photography?

I’m not sure how to describe my style. I just go to each wedding and capture what I believe the bride and groom will love and I shoot with the storybook album in mind.

Describe one of the coolest weddings you’ve been involved in.

I have photographed weddings all over Europe but one of the coolest weddings was in Provence, France. My wife assisted me and we had the best time!

For a bride and groom currently planning their big day, what piece of advice would you give them when it comes to their photographer and making the most out of their wedding pictures?

The most important thing when choosing your wedding photographer is to make sure you get along. I tell all my clients on the day to show me the love and it works every time. 🙂

Finally, would you recommend having your wedding filmed and if so, why?

I definitely recommend having a short cinematic film made on the day. We have just started doing these and every bride and groom are going crazy over them. You can watch our latest films here: http://www.taylorwinterfilms.com
