Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s wedding day is just around the corner and here at Save the Date Magazine HQ, we’re getting seriously excited for the most anticipated wedding celebration of the year! We’ve been busy imagining exactly how The Royal Wedding will look, so keep reading to find out some of our predictions for Harry & Meghan’s special day…

So, let’s take a look at what we know so far. The soon-to-be newlyweds will be holding their ceremony at St George’s Chapel within the grounds of Windsor Castle on May 19th (breaking the tradition of week-day weddings). After their vows have taken place, the couple will take a ride on a horse-drawn carriage. Meghan’s father, Thomas Markle, will be walking her down the aisle. Followed by an evening party with 600 people attending at Frogmore House. We also know that the couple have opted for a lemon and elderflower cake (yum!) and that Philippa Craddock will be doing their flowers. It already sounds pretty amazing doesn’t it?

Our Predictions

We anticipate that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s wedding will be a little less formal than previous weddings, including Meghan’s dress. We were blown away by Kate’s dress back in April 2011, but who will be designing Meghan’s dress? With hundreds of rumours swirling the world of weddings, the couple are keeping everything about the gown under wraps, but we predict that the bridal contenders could include Erdem, Antonio Berardi or Ralph & Russo. We think Meghan’s gown will be traditional and elegant with a modern and glamorous vibe, it will of course be incredibly luxurious and we just know she’s going to look beautiful.

We think Meghan’s elegant style will shine through, opting for an all-white colour scheme and floral décor that just oozes understated elegance. We’re talking an oversized white bridal bouquet consisting of blousy blooms, white floral archways and grand centrepieces.

What are your predictions for The Royal Wedding? We can’t wait to find out! Don’t forget, if you’re planning your very own special day you can visit our Cream of the Crop Wedding Directory to discover some wonderfully talented photographers, florists, cake makers and many more
