Orange tree weddings stylist, styles her big day!
Orange tree weddings are renowned for transforming the humblest of village halls and spaces into magical venues. So, when Orange tree stylist Jules announced her wedding to Dunc, we knew there would be lots of special touches.
Jules has an impressive collection of vintage fabrics, tableware, lighting and props to play with, but it’s the handcrafted elements bespoke to each wedding that are the hallmark of an Orange tree wedding, beautiful embroidered banners, illustrated chalkboards, personalised messages. Lots of surprises to delight couples on the day.
The styling is impressive but let’s not overlook the food; homemade, rustic dishes, creatively presented and plentiful. And of course an Orange tree wedding wouldn’t be complete without a signature cocktail (or two).
Jules’ wedding was jam packed with delights… a bold carnival colour palette formed the backdrop to so many surprises…a comic book themed table plan… outside living area complete with lampshades in the trees… a bouncy castle to keep both kids and adults entertained… Delicious home-salted beef and hams with lots of salads presented in enamel bowls… Cakes galore served on vintage china…raspberry leotard cocktails…doodle place mats…origami name place tags…tepee festooned with vintage saris for afternoon snoozes… the list goes on.
Jules says of her day, “Expectations were high, but even I surprised myself, by how well it went. All the little details and talking points set the tone for the day. Everyone had fun. It’s interesting being on the other side. The worry is you’ll feel the need to interfere, but I can honestly say I was really relaxed. The staff were amazing, made me feel so proud.”
