Spring Elegance at The Kedleston Country House
The Kedleston Country House is a beautiful Georgian house in the heart of the Derbyshire countryside. But don’t let its elegant grandeur fool you - it’s an extremely versatile backdrop for a wedding celebration. With its bright, airy Orangery lending itself beautifully for this styled shoot, it made the perfect setting for a bunch of Midlands’ creatives to get together for a styled shoot.
“We really wanted to bring the spring vibes to this shoot,” says Helena Henrick of Pretty Hearts - the brains behind the concept and planning of this shoot. “We went for a peach/pink theme, highlighting the stunning spring trend colour “peach fuzz”. The spring vibes allowed the suppliers to have creative flow and create a colourful shoot, showcasing each suppliers talents.
“Imagine [the venue] bathed in the soft hues of peach fuzz and delicate pinks. Against a backdrop of lush greenery or a dreamy garden setting, the scene is set for a romantic affair straight out of a fairy tale. Tables adorned with peachy florals, blush linens, and gold accents create an atmosphere of refined elegance, while delicate lace details and vintage-inspired décor add a touch of whimsy. Bouquet bursting with peachy pink blooms, while the bride stuns in a gown featuring simplicity and style. With every detail carefully curated to harmonise with the enchanting colour scheme, this styled shoot captures the essence of romance and sophistication.”

The variations of deep purple give real depth of colour and are a welcome change from the usual burnt orange and brown we see this time of year. Teamed with the hunter green, these colours are perfect for both indoor and outdoor as highlighted in the final images.
