Who are you and what do you do?
Tickety Boo Events is an events styling and management company with vintage accessories and props for hire. The collection is ever growing from an American airmail box, vintage suitcases and ladders to a retro peg board, mismatched china and candelabras. If a couple are looking for something in particular then I make it my challenge to find it. The beauty of what I do is that I can be a hire or styling service or both.
What do you feel makes your service stand out from the crowd?
My experience goes beyond styling and planning, I’ve worked in the Events industry for over ten years on indoor and outdoor events and so I have an all-round experience of event management and a great network of contacts. Visually I can help make a couple’s day look beautiful and just as they wished, but practically when it comes to set up I can see how it will all come together and what will work operationally on the day. I will also travel beyond Derbyshire to set up and style a day, a car trip for me to create a special day is well worth it. I currently have weddings planned in Hertfordshire and Shropshire as well as in my own County.

Finally, what do you love the most about being involved in the wonderful world of weddings?
A wedding is like no other event, it is a day to be remembered and I love being a part of that journey, and seeing it all come together. I’m a romantic at heart and I love the personal touches that the couple bring to their day and the different ideas they have. I am constantly surrounded by beautiful things, people and places. It’s an industry like no other…
