I thee Wed – Abi & Paul
Today, we bring you the beautiful wedding day of Abi & Paul, our competition winners from
the Wedding Event with a Difference back in February 2011.
Abi & Paul were SO lucky to win the services of some of our most reputable and highly
regarded wedding suppliers.
Here, their wedding photographer Becky Butterworth of Butterworth Photography
tells us about the day itself and how it all came together.
Abi and Paul were lucky to have some beautiful sunshine on their wedding day and when I arrived at The Old Vicarage Boutique Hotel to shoot the Bridal preparations, there was a
hive of activity from suppliers. Flowers were arriving, bows being tied to chair covers and
a few excited groomsmen at the door as the cake was carried through …. just like a romantic movie.
The ceremony took place at the magnificent Southwell Minster and a professional church
choir had been invited to sing by the minster and it really added to the ceremony atmosphere
in there. After the ceremony we all spilled outside and with the sunshine it made for
some lovely photographs as tourists watched us.
After the ceremony we made the short drive back to The Old Vicarage Boutique Hotel
or the reception. Guests enjoyed drinks on the patio and I spent some great photo time with
Abi and Paul around the grounds and inside.
Their reception room was decorated beautifully, all the suppliers had truly created a stunning day for everyone to enjoy and Abi and Paul we’re so excited and delighted to see it all come together so perfectly.
When I left after the first dance everyone was enjoying the sound of Just Ben and the party
was getting started.
Make sure you read the next edition of Save the Date Magazine where we’ll be featuring
Abi & Paul’s big day, along with some words from the lovely bride herself.
