Tell us a little bit about who Temprell are and the services you offer?
Here at Temprell we are a well-established, family run business with over 75 years’ worth of experience, specialising in engagement and wedding rings, alongside completely bespoke and one of a kind custom jewellery. It is our goal to make what can often be a daunting and intimidating purchase, comfortable and relaxed. Education is a huge part of our ethos, giving freely the knowledge that allows our clients to make an informed decision, guided by our expertise.
What makes the shopping experience with you extra special?
From the moment you are welcomed into store with a glass of prosecco to the guided tour of our on-site workshop, we like to pride ourselves on creating a memorable experience for our clients. Wedding planning can be a whirlwind, and it is easy for many to lose sight of the bigger picture, celebrating you and your love.
Once the I do’s have been said, your wedding rings are a lifelong reminder of your commitment to one another. From hand selecting your own diamonds, to having a shaped wax carving hand crafted specifically for you (all in the time it takes for you to enjoy some lunch) we encourage our clients to be as involved as they see fit.
Our on-site workshop means our aftercare service is second to none-allowing us to carry out full refurbishments and resizes with speed and ease, with your piece never leaving our premises. Our CAD team is always on hand for bespoke creations, with high-definition rendering that gives our client the ability to see their design before anything is set in stone (or platinum).
What advice would you give couples starting to think about their wedding rings?
The first thing we would suggest is to allow yourself plenty of time before the wedding to start looking at rings together. This reduces any unnecessary stress and gives you peace of mind closer towards the big day and allows you to focus on the important things: e.g. you!
Another important thing to consider is your own personal style- do you love sparkle or want something a bit more understated? Yellow gold or a white metal? These are all custom option at Temprell, and we encourage our clients to explore these different styles to make sure they get exactly what they are looking for.
Shopping for wedding rings is one of the more romantic parts of planning for a wedding, therefore we recommend doing this as a couple. Often our partners know us better than we know ourselves, and a second opinion from someone close to you can be helpful when you’re feeling undecided.
A vital thing to consider is your lifestyle. Do you work in an office or in construction? Will you be regularly taking them off for work or the gym? These are all questions to ponder when picking your wedding bands as things such as the style, size and metal type of your ring can be altered accordingly.
If you have an engagement ring: wear it! To know what looks good and complements the ring you have already it is imperative that you can see them as they will be worn, side by side.

From setting each other’s birthstones inside, to the multitude of engraving options that we offer: handwritten messages, finger prints, wedding dates etc. This is a space for just you and your partner to explore what you mean to one another. This can be done together or as a thoughtful surprise to be revealed on the big day.
