Getting to know Premier Events
We enjoy working with the team at Premier Events. They’re professional, hard working and know a thing or two about how to style a wedding with their endless props and decor items to hire. Here, we chat to their wedding co-ordinator Libbie;
So, tell me Libbie, what you do at Premier Events and how would you sum up your role?
As Premier’s Wedding Co-ordinator, I am the first point of contact for most of our couples. I typically respond to their initial phone call or email to discuss their ideas and requirements. From there, I offer advice and support on the couples requirements, typically this includes suggested timings plus any venue specific points we can advise on, such as what works well and where to position things. Also in a lot of cases, I will also set up a meeting to go into more depth as to what the bride and groom want and try and come up with creative ways in which we can achieve their ideas.
What is your favourite product/service you supply for weddings?
The LED Blossom Tree – It is the perfect focal point to any wedding. It suits most themes, such as Disney, Autumn (seasonal) and Winter Wonderland. It can be used as a photo backdrop, or a wishing tree and has even been used to hang table plans from, should you want to utilise the tree in a more proactive way!
Talk us through your most popular requests and what seems to be trending for this year?
Our most popular request has always been dance floors and LED Uplighting because that’s how Ben, our MD, started to build the business along with Mobile Discos. Our White Starlit Dance Floor and LED uplighters never seems to go out of fashion, and are still top of the list when it comes to wedding reception décor.
What do you love most about working for Premier Weddings?
Premier is a family, and that’s the best thing. We are not the biggest events company (yet), but this means we can be really flexible and spend time with our clients to ensure we deliver the best service and advice. The team are also great, we all get on so well, which is why I think we are growing so quickly, because its not just a job for all of us here, we really do love what we do and the job satisfaction from a brilliantly executed wedding with amazing feedback, is what drives us to go above and beyond for our clients.
