Let’s get to know Elder & WildElder and Wild - Wedding FloristElder and Wild - Wedding Florist

Elder & Wild comprises of myself (Becky), my husband Sam and our little cat Margot. We grow and arrange flowers from our cut flower garden in Nottingham and so all our arrangements are made with British Flowers. I have a background in fine art and worked in that field for a number of years before accidentally becoming addicted to growing flowers in our tiny terrace! Elder & Wild started out when friends began asking me for blooms and I started looking into whether growing flowers was something that I could start to do professionally. Jumping forward a couple of years and we are just coming to the end of our second growing season at our new cut flower garden (I’m no longer restricted to cramming blooms into a teeny tiny terrace!). It’s been a lot of hard work but we love it!

We offer two main services for brides and a whole host of other event related florals. Our Fully Styled service is perfect for couples who want us to look after every aspect of their bespoke wedding florals, from consultation through to installation. Weddings can be expensive and we understand that some couples want a beautiful wedding on a more modest budget so we also offer our Wild & Free service for those who want to get a little more creative with their wedding flowers. Pick key floral pieces for us to arrange and then create your own table centres using our Buckets of Blooms.

Our flowers come to you full of all their natural and seasonal glory and are picked the week of your wedding- with absolutely no air miles or funny chemicals! We grow almost everything here in our garden and what we don’t grow we get from other local flower farms, using only 100% British flowers. We love what we do and nurture every stem from seed to bloom, grow beautiful varieties and adore working with the surprises every season brings. We specialise in creating arrangements with a wild, just picked elegance.

We also offer flower crown workshops for hen parties at certain times of the year. We come to you with buckets full to the brim of flowers and show you how to create floral masterpieces which you can then wear for the rest of the day!

The best way to get in touch about weddings is via the enquiry form on our website, The form will give us the basic information we need to get the floral conversation started. If you want to get in touch about our workshops of other bespoke arrangements then drop us a line at

A big trend for 2017 and 2018 is foliage heavy arrangements. Couples are taking advantage of the beautiful textures and fresh, vibrant colours of foliage arrangements where flowers take a back seat. That being said, there’s also still a big love for large floral installations, and that wild, slightly untamed aesthetic.”

So if you love the sound of Elder & Wild, be sure to get in touch and your wedding day is guaranteed to be bloomin’ beautiful!
