Laura & Helgi
Stuck for ideas on how to collect your wedding cards and gifts? This lovely couple opted for a wicker basket with some lovely DIY ‘card’ bunting hung from the lid. It’s simple, sweet and a super easy way for your guests to offer their cards to you.
Laura & Helgi
We love the thought of using a simple slate heart tied with a ribbon as an alternative chair cover for your wedding day. You could even double-up and use them as place name settings! Opt for a ribbon that fits in with the colour scheme or theme of your big day. You can see more of Laura & Helgi’s ‘Secret Garden’ wedding here.
Kate & Chris
Add a splash of colour to your wedding venue with a vibrant hanging installation. Kate & Chris decided to have a Mexican-fiesta wedding theme that was bursting with rainbow brights and statement decorations. Love this look? Then have a nosey at their glorious wedding day here.
Sarah & Tim
This crafty bride & groom create their own hanging installation made out of wood collected during their wedding planning process. They covered it with wild foliage and greenery, hanging jam jars full of pretty blooms from the installation. It’s the perfect choice if you want to bring the outdoors in, or if you’re planning a rustic woodland affair. Take a look at Sarah & Tim’s whimsical wedding day here.
Amy & Brett
When it comes to your wedding table centrepieces, consider using jam or mason jars filled with your favourite flowers. You could wrap hessian and lace ribbon around the jars for an extra special touch. Opt for flowers that fit in with the rest of your floral decorations and bridal bouquets. We promise you they will look so pretty! See more of Amy & Brett’s big day here.
Ruth & Rich
We’re huge fans of light boxes here at Save the Date Magazine HQ and we think they’re a fab addition to any wedding day. You can use them to say ‘Just Married’ or to display your wedding hashtag. The best news? They can easily be used as part of your home decor after the big day too! You can view Ruth & Rich’s wedding day on the blog here!
Adam & Katie
Add a touch of glamour to your big day by decorating your wedding venue with gold-dipped feathers. You can use them as modern chair covers for your reception, or you could hang them across the beams of your wedding venue. See how Adam & Katie used them to styled their special day…
