Celebrity Nuptials

It’s been celebrity wedding fever of late and we couldn’t let them pass us by without dissecting them as only a woman can do:

Wedding #1

So, first up is Lily Allen. The controversial 26 year old singer who has endured her fair share of heartache just recently, married Sam Cooper on 11th June in a sleepy village in Gloucestershire. The singer opted for a very vintage look with a dress by French designer Delphine Manivet. We love the fact that she looked so happy with her cute bump protruding ever so slightly but we weren’t totally struck by the head veil. It seemed like it took over her pretty face a little bit but other than that, great style and lots of happiness all round so huge congratulations to Lily and Sam.

Wedding #2

Next it’s the super gorgeous WAG Abbey Clancy and her footballer husband, Peter Crouch. Despite allegations of Peter playing away (pardon the pun!), the two of them looked relaxed and totally and utterly in love on their big day over at Stapleford Park in Melton Mowbray. Gorgeous venue and one very close to Save the Date HQ, we were really excited to hear that their big day was at such a fabulous, East Midlands based venue. Abbey it seems is totally incapable of looking anything other than bloody gorgeous so it was a given that she’d be an absolute stunner on her big day. And she didn’t disappoint. Flowing locks, sparkling teeth, sun-kissed skin and on trend bright red nails, Abbey had it going on … that was until her nipple popped out of her dress when she leaned to give her new husband a kiss. Whoops. But we’ll forget about that because Abbey, you looked A.mazing.

Wedding #3

Last but certainly not least is style queen, Kate Moss to the ‘too cool for school’ James Hince. Understated is the best way to describe Kate’s look on her big day. Well, what are you supposed to do when you’re a worldwide renowned supermodel? I think she did the best thing by playing it down and just looking like herself. Natural nails, casual hair and not overly made up, Kate looked country garden chic. The bridesmaids (all 14 of them) looked fabulous and seemed to be having the time of their lives. Not surprising considering what Kate and James reportedly spent on their big day (according to one newspaper, it reached £1 million!!) Apparently, there were three days of antics in the beautiful Cotswold village where she owns a home, including vodka by the truckload, six marquees, drinks organised by top London nightclub Mahiki, a team from Ritz overseeing the food, performances by A listers including Snoop Dogg, carnival style entertainment for the kids and road closures in the area! Well, if your name is Kate Moss, there is no excuse for a boring wedding …. we wish our name was on the guest list!

So, whose next in the world of weddings in celebville? It looks like Frank Lampard and Christine Bleakley won’t be long until they’re splashing their cash at the next WAG infested wedding plus, if the rumours are to be believed, the Cole’s are soon to be going for wedding number two …. dear oh dear.

Happy Wedding Wednesday everyone!
