Alternative Bridesmaid Dresses for a Day to Remember
Here, we hand you over to blogger Laura Clarke whose been on the hunt for bridesmaid differences with a difference ….
“Wedding season is well and truly upon us and last minute preparations are underway to put the finishing touches to what could have literally been years of planning. But if you have still yet to think about bridesmaid dresses (or perhaps your big day isn’t for a while yet) you could perhaps think about having something a little less traditional than strapless ball gowns. Here are some great alternative bridesmaid dresses from ASOS.
Printed bridesmaid dresses don’t have to be over the top or steal your limelight, there are some brilliant floral designs that are perfect for summer and will fit into more or less any seasonal colour scheme. From bright summer colours to simple monochrome there is bound to be a floral frock which you and your bridesmaids will fall in love with.
Lace is everywhere right now, and lace wedding dresses have been flying off the shelves since a certain royal wedding last year, but why not incorporate it into your bridesmaid dresses as well? To make a distinction between you and your maids coloured lace is a great idea. Dresses such as these can be found in a whole array of colours, none more currently on trend then bright orange.
For a subtle twist on a floor length ball gown a maxi is a slightly softer look which suits all body shapes, so great if you have a lot of bridesmaids each with their own ideas. The pleats on this ASOS maxi add interest and elegance and the vibrant red is a gorgeous colour for summer. You could even mix the boho trend with the floral one and tick off two key trends in one.
The great thing about all of these dresses is that they can be worn again and again after the big day so you won’t have spent a fortune on frocks to only be worn once.”
Thanks so much Laura! Hope you guys found this little piece of bridesmaid inspiration handy 🙂
