| STYLED SHOOT | Celebrating the spring brightness
Introduction
An Alice in wonderland inspired Spring Wedding Shoot
We don’t know how you are feeling but we are definitely not ready for these colder evenings.
So to brighter up our day we just had to share this alternative approach to a spring wedding style.
We are longing for brighter spring days already and thank you to the wonderful team who brought this style shoot together.

The Vibe
Back in January, a lovely bunch of wedding suppliers gathered together on a cold winters morning for a wedding fair, drinking coffee and chatting about how they longed for brighter spring days. Conversation soon turned to making a shoot to celebrate that spring isn’t just about the pretty pastels, it can be colourful and fun!
By adding a touch of ‘Alice in Wonderland’ in the stationary, cake table and biscuits would help to make this shoot feel a little more fun. So we had to include the ‘Eat Me’ Biscuits, shots with ‘Drink me’ on them for the place settings and a ‘Mad Hatter’ area for wedding guests to hang their hats and fascinators.
A bonkers cake table was a total must for this shoot and the sugar was a huge hit after for all the suppliers.
The Venue
Shot at CastleView Stables in the heart of the Leicestershire countryside, boasting idyllic views over the Welland Valley and across to Rockingham Castle.
The inside barn is lite up with lots of beautiful fairy lights making it a magical and wonderland backdrop.

We can be forgiven for wanting to float off into our dreamworld of idyllic weddings and not considering the environmental impact of our decisions for that one day. However, what if we told you that you could have your “green” cake and eat it; a sustainable wedding with all the latest trends. Sounds good, right?
Where do I begin looking for our perfect photographer, we hear you ask!
Here’s some top tips and trustworthy advice from the experts…
The variations of deep purple give real depth of colour and are a welcome change from the usual burnt orange and brown we see this time of year. Teamed with the hunter green, these colours are perfect for both indoor and outdoor as highlighted in the final images.
