A regal shoot ….
Today, we bring you a real moody, artistic and highly individual shoot collection, courtesy of Jess from Jess Petrie Photography. Here, Jess tells us all about her inspiration behind this fabulous collection of images:
“After relocating with my photography business I knew it was going to be tough, where would all of my clientele come from? Who would recommend me? It was time to get creative and start finding others nearby within the industry & make new friendships. But what would be the theme? Well with the Royal Wedding frenzy what better theme could there be? Perfect timing I’d say.
Why? By manifesting my project in this way I wasn’t only showing off my own style and ideas of artistic and dramatic creation to potential clientele but I was able to collaborate, meet and work with local suppliers. What better introduction could there be? I wanted to create something that modern brides-to-be can relate to; for inspiration, ideas, suppliers, and just be an overall great guide of inspiration.
I have really met some great suppliers through this collaboration who are really lovely people and I feel very positive about working with them on a regular basis.
Special thanks to:
Ivan & Francesca at Choola Bridal Boutique for supplying the bride’s dresses and accessories.
Natalie at LOVE Bouquets for the Union Jack/Royal Wedding inspired bouquet-for life.
Nikoletta Peter MUA for her fab make-up skills.
Chatsworth House for the amazing rooms & enchanted gardens that helped to create the feel.
And my super model Agi Banas.
My biggest thanks to the “real” Royal Bride & Groom; William & Kate, for inspiring my theme of the shoot and giving me a time scale to work towards!”
Hope you enjoyed folks! I know that amidst all the fabulousness (is that even a word?) of this shoot, I perhaps sound a little odd saying this but how gorgeous is that teacup in the last shot!?
