If Sunday's Vintage Chic Wedding Fair is anything like their last one in Birmingham two weeks ago it will be an utterly splendid affair! I'll be singing throughout the day so do say hello won't you?

Hello

Do you have any more availability for the wedding fayre event for a musician/ entertainment. If so could you let me know some details. I can see you already have a number of people and understandably it is a little short notice-sorry!

Many Thanks Sarah

I think Life plans can really help you achieve, it's great to have goals and aspirations. My life plan at 16 was to go to uni, move to London, get exciting media job but I had never thought beyond that. Now I've done all those things I've had to make new life plans, moving to the countryside and starting my own company and when that hopefully all runs smoothly i'll have to make new life plans, it's exciting and we are lucky to be able to make plans and strive to achieve them and when things go awry? Well, get back to the drawing board and get planning!

Haha, Ashleigh, I love it! I also had a vision of being some high flying journalist getting all the major scoops and writing best selling novels (still on my to do list!)

Your life sounds just lovely as it is.

Thanks for commenting :-)

I had a life plan when I was a similar age, probably about 11. I was going to get married in the year 2020, thus allowing myself plenty of time to establish a successful and vibrant career in the media and to publish several best selling novels. I would then have my child in 2022 (I was only having the one). I was going to build my own house (sort of modelled on those lovely American ranches with the wrap around terrace thingy) and I'm pretty sure my husband (who I would meet in 2015, would have had some vague-titled job in the city. So; it's 2011, still 4 years away from meeting my future husband apparently. Unfortunately for "the plan" I am getting married next year (though he is an I.T consultant in London - can't get much more vague than that!) and my son is already 15 months old (oopsy Daisy - sorry Nan!) I find myself running my own business, a vintage/heritage toyshop, which isn't quite the News of the World but I guess that's a good thing! The novels are not progressing - I blame the fact that I abandoned "the plan"!
